Unshakable: Part 1 || Day 2

Psalm‬ ‭101:1-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬‬‬‬‬
"I will sing of your love and justice, Lord. I will praise you with songs. I will be careful to live a blameless life— when will you come to help me? I will lead a life of integrity in my own home. I will refuse to look at anything vile and vulgar. I hate all who deal crookedly; I will have nothing to do with them. I will reject perverse ideas and stay away from every evil. I will not tolerate people who slander their neighbors. I will not endure conceit and pride. I will search for faithful people to be my companions. Only those who are above reproach will be allowed to serve me. I will not allow deceivers to serve in my house, and liars will not stay in my presence. My daily task will be to ferret out the wicked and free the city of the Lord from their grip."

‭‭In a shaking world, praise and worship causes us to become more aware that Jesus is our ROCK!‬‬‬‬

Psalm‬ ‭101:1 says, “I will sing of your love and justice, Lord. I will praise you with songs.” ‬‬‬‬

Psalm 95:1 says, “Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.”

Psalm 62:2 says, “He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.”

Psalm 18:46 says, “The LORD lives! Praise to my Rock! May the God of my salvation be exalted!”

David and the other Psalmists in the Bible had this revelation; The more we praise and worship God, the more aware we become that He truly is our Rock. He truly is our sure foundation, and the chief corner stone that cannot be moved.

The Bible says that Jesus is the Chief Cornerstone that the builders rejected. (Matthew 21:42; Mark 12:10; Luke 20:17; Acts 4:11; Ephesians 3:20; & 1 Peter 2:4-6) If Jesus is the Chief Cornerstone, the rock of our salvation, and the Rock can’t be moved; then being in Him causes us to be unmoved! The Bible says in Him we live, in Him we move, and in Him we have our being (Acts 17:28). One of the most powerful things that causes us to be reminded that we are in Him is when we praise and worship Him.

When we praise and worship Him it causes us to be more aware that He died for us. His blood has delivered us from all the powers of darkness. He has defeated death, hell, and the grave for us. It reminds us that He has not left us as orphans, but He is coming back for us!
