It’s Time to Come Up || Part 3 - Day 4

Haggai‬ 2‬:6‬-9‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬

For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”

Matthew‬ 6‬:19‬-26‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”

Hebrews‬ 7‬:1‬-10‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬

For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated “king of righteousness,” and then also king of Salem, meaning “king of peace,” without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually. Now consider how great this man was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils. And indeed those who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to receive tithes from the people according to the law, that is, from their brethren, though they have come from the loins of Abraham; but he whose genealogy is not derived from them received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. Now beyond all contradiction the lesser is blessed by the better. Here mortal men receive tithes, but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives. Even Levi, who receives tithes, paid tithes through Abraham, so to speak, for he was still in the loins of his father when Melchizedek met him.

Tell me church, when Jesus miraculously fed the multitudes, which time did they barely have enough? Neither time! Both times, He sent the disciples to go and gather what was left over. When He blessed Abraham, did he barely have enough to get by? No! He was very rich according to Genesis 13:2. When He blessed the widow in 2 Kings 4, did He bless her with just enough to pay her debt? Or, did He bless her for the rest of her life?

Why am I bringing all this to your attention? Because our attitude and mindset towards the blessing of God on other believers has a lot to do with how God can bless you. If you look at it in a negative view, then it hinders the blessings that God can send your way.

If Abraham lived today, he would be ridiculed by most of the American church today. They would have him on Facebook posts about how he preaches a false gospel. They would write books about how he is deceiving the church. They would start websites about how he is a false prophet and has accepted a different gospel.

If Jesus lived today, most of the American church would not follow Him. His ministry was so blessed that He had a treasurer. Secondly, his treasurer stole and embezzled money from the ministry and they never missed it.

Thirdly, they gambled for His clothes after they were bloody. They would have Jesus and Abraham on the major news networks on how they are deceiving people out of their money. Pastors would stand up and preach against them on Sundays because they were blessed. Your attitude and mindset towards the blessing of God on other believers has a lot to do with how God can bless you.

Church, it is appalling to me how the body of Christ will attack other Christians because God has blessed them. It is appalling to me how the body of Christ will attack its leaders because God has blessed them. It is appalling to me how we are OK with the strip club owner having a nice house and a nice car, but we will crucify the preacher because he has one. We will overlook the casino owner having five and ten mansions all over the world, but then blast a preacher on Facebook because he has a nice house. It is appalling to me how we will celebrate and even idolize Satan worshipers in Hollywood because they have jets and money. And then we will start a website persecuting the preacher because he has a jet to go preach the gospel.

It’s a demonic spirit influencing Christians all over the world to keep them broke and neutralized. Because if you don’t have any money, you can’t reach the lost. If you don’t have any money, you can’t build churches. If you don’t have any money, you can’t feed the poor. If you don’t have any money, you can’t advance the kingdom in the earth. The body of Christ, as a whole, is demonizing the very thing that will help mobilize them.
