It’s Time to Come Up || Part 3 - Day 5

Haggai‬ 2‬:6‬-9‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬

For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”

Matthew‬ 6‬:19‬-26‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”

Hebrews‬ 7‬:1‬-10‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬

For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated “king of righteousness,” and then also king of Salem, meaning “king of peace,” without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually. Now consider how great this man was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils. And indeed those who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to receive tithes from the people according to the law, that is, from their brethren, though they have come from the loins of Abraham; but he whose genealogy is not derived from them received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. Now beyond all contradiction the lesser is blessed by the better. Here mortal men receive tithes, but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives. Even Levi, who receives tithes, paid tithes through Abraham, so to speak, for he was still in the loins of his father when Melchizedek met him.

Some of us want a poverty spirit to be broken off of us, but we don’t want to change the way we think. What you don’t realize is, it’s your thinking that is allowing that spirit to hang around. It’s your thinking and your spiritual attitude towards the blessings of God that gives that spirit the legal right to hold you back.

Therefore, what I’m doing today is attacking the mindsets and spiritual attitudes that keep you stagnant and paralyzed. For many of you, as your thinking changes, so will your prosperity. Can you see yourself blessed? Can you see yourself as the head and not the tail? Can you see yourself at the top and not at the bottom? Can you see yourself as the decision maker? Can you see yourself as the one who has been anointed to change your generation and your bloodline? Can you see yourself as God sees you?

The last thing I want to point out that is holding the kingdom back is the spirit of Judas. This is a spirit or a mindset that causes you to make others feel bad for the blessing of God in other’s lives.

The spirit of Judas is at work in many believers. The spirit of Judas says, “Why don’t you take that money and give it to the poor? Why would you dare take that money and waste it on some perfume to pour out on His feet and body? Why would you not give it to the poor? By the way, aren’t we supposed to feed the hungry and take care of those who are poor?” Yes! But what you must realize is that God’s resources never run out. Therefore, God has perfume money, and He has poor money.

I have two responses to that. First, we try and more keeps coming in. Second, God would not be that good of a Father if He didn’t reward His children for obeying Him and advancing His kingdom.

Let’s pray…
