Unshakable: Part 2 || Day 1

Hebrews‬ ‭12:18-29‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬
"For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore. (For they could not endure what was commanded: “And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow.” And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.”) But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire."
‭‭‭‭‬‬‬‬
Just because there’s a shaking coming doesn’t mean we have to be shaken. There is a safe place in God that keeps you from experiencing what the world has to experience.

Just because the enemy attacks doesn’t mean he’s going to win. Just because he forms a weapon doesn’t mean it will prosper. Just because he has a desire to destroy you doesn’t mean he will be successful. Just because he wants to steal something doesn’t mean he can touch it. Don’t allow him to deceive you into believing that an attack is a victory. Don’t allow him to deceive you into believing that his plans will always be successful in your life.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’”

Every plan that does not line up with that plan does not have the power to direct your life. It does not have the authority to order your steps. It does not have the permission to dictate your future. The devil’s desires, plans, and attacks do not have the right to plan our future NOR destroy our God-given destiny!

Last time we were together, we discussed these three powerful truths about those who are unshakable…

First, Unshakeable people know praise and worship causes us to become more aware that Jesus is our ROCK!

Second, Unshakable people live a life of integrity in their homes and in the kingdom.

Third, Unshakeable people guard their gates and examine their relationships and associations.

Now we come to the next truth…
Unshakable people surround themselves with Faithful People and Faith-Filled People.

Psalms‬ ‭101:6‬ says, “I will search for faithful people to be my companions. Only those who are above reproach will be allowed to serve me.”‬

The Bible says that faithfulness is a fruit of the Spirit. When Jesus is telling a parable in the gospels about His servants, He describes them as, “good and faithful” servants. When God is revealing Himself to us in the Bible, He describes Himself as faithful in all His ways. As a matter of fact, He says even if you are faithless, He is faithful, because He can’t deny Himself.
