Unshakable: Part 2 || Day 2

Psalm ‭101:1-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬‬‬‬‬
I will sing of your love and justice, Lord. I will praise you with songs. I will be careful to live a blameless life— when will you come to help me? I will lead a life of integrity in my own home. I will refuse to look at anything vile and vulgar. I hate all who deal crookedly; I will have nothing to do with them. I will reject perverse ideas and stay away from every evil. I will not tolerate people who slander their neighbors. I will not endure conceit and pride. I will search for faithful people to be my companions. Only those who are above reproach will be allowed to serve me. I will not allow deceivers to serve in my house, and liars will not stay in my presence. My daily task will be to ferret out the wicked and free the city of the Lord from their grip.

Matthew‬ ‭7:24-27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬
“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

Unshakable people surround themselves with Faithful People and Faith-Filled People.

Proverbs 25:19 says, “Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a bad tooth and a foot out of joint.”

Church, there are times when we experience attacks from hell and adverse situations that seem difficult to deal with. Then there are other times we deal with these things because we have surrounded ourselves with unfaithful people, or have put confidence in fools. Sometimes you hear people say, “Everything happens for a reason.” Yes, and sometimes that reason is because we connected with unfaithful people.

Church, there are times when you may be struggling in certain areas. There may be times when you need some help from the body of Christ. There may be times when you don’t feel that strong. In times like that, having faithful people that you can count on is worth more than silver or gold.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

Therefore beloved, in order for you to have faithful people in your life you have to become a faithful person. The Bible says that whatever a man sows, that he shall also reap. Right now, you may be the one sowing faithfulness. But don’t stop, because there’s a day coming when you will need faithful people to help you.
Not only are we to surround ourselves with faithful people, but also faith-filled people. These are people that refuse to accept circumstances and situations that do not line up with God’s word. In other words, they place their complete trust and faith in what God says. Beloved, many claim to do this, but when shaking times come, it reveals those who truly believe and trust in His word.

Church, right now there are many things that the body of Christ needs to awaken to. All of them — whether it’s revival, restoration, or reformation — are hinging on the awakening and trust upon His word! We have to get back to the place where it does not matter who says it or believes it, if it doesn’t line up with His word, then we reject it!
