Unshakable: Part 2 || Day 5

Psalm‬ ‭101:1-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬‬‬‬‬
I will sing of your love and justice, Lord. I will praise you with songs. I will be careful to live a blameless life— when will you come to help me? I will lead a life of integrity in my own home. I will refuse to look at anything vile and vulgar. I hate all who deal crookedly; I will have nothing to do with them. I will reject perverse ideas and stay away from every evil. I will not tolerate people who slander their neighbors. I will not endure conceit and pride. I will search for faithful people to be my companions. Only those who are above reproach will be allowed to serve me. I will not allow deceivers to serve in my house, and liars will not stay in my presence. My daily task will be to ferret out the wicked and free the city of the Lord from their grip.

Unshakable people engage culture instead of embracing culture.

The psalmist says, “My daily task will be to drive out the wicked and free the city.” Church, it’s important to point out that the word doesn’t say, “Go and join the wicked, build and bridge to the wicked, or join arms in humanitarian efforts with the wicked.” It didn’t say, “Go and vote for the wicked.” The Bible says, “Make it your daily task to drive out the wicked!”

Beloved, let me tell you what ALC is about. We are a stronghold for the kingdom of God in this land. We are an epicenter for the Holy Ghost and the glory of God. We are a body of believers that are punching back the powers of hell that are trying to take this land. We are group of people that are taking back the land from the enemy and advancing the kingdom in this land.

We are a church that refuses to embrace this wicked culture but will, by the Spirit of God, engage this wicked culture. We refuse to allow groups that seek to divide us to infiltrate us, because we know that our blessing and power is in uniting us. We refuse to embrace a deception that says we must water the Word down to reach a dying generation.

Church, throughout the history of this Bible, the people that God used powerfully were never the ones that bowed to the demands of culture, who chose to blend in and not stand out. They were never the ones that said, “Well you have to use wisdom.” They were never the ones who chose to sell out to the world for money, fame, and prestige.

No!

They were always the ones that said, “Even if our God doesn’t rescue us, we still won’t bow.” They were always the ones that said, “I know everyone else is fearful, but we are going to take your head off today.” They were always the ones that said, “You may think I’m crazy and out of it, but prepare ye the way of the Lord and make His paths straight.”

They were always the ones who were separated by themselves on an island because they wouldn’t embrace a worldly culture. However, they were also the ones who said, “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, saying, ‘I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,’ and, ‘What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches.’”

Church, you can’t embrace this wicked culture and not be shaken with it. You have to engage this wicked culture. In other words, we are not conforming to you or your culture. Instead, by the power of God, we will transform this worldly culture into a kingdom culture. We will push back hell and pull down the demonic mindsets that allow them territory. We will destroy their altars and build places of worship that engage cultures, not embrace cultures. We will build Holy Ghost Epicenters all over this nation that will transform regions and FREE CITIES from demonic strongholds. These Epicenters will drive out the wicked and plant the righteous in the land!
