Jesus The… || Part 4, Day 5

Colossians‬ 2‬:4‬-9‬ NLT‬‬‬‬

I am telling you this so no one will deceive you with well-crafted arguments. For though I am far away from you, my heart is with you. And I rejoice that you are living as you should and that your faith in Christ is strong. And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.

Since man’s righteousness is like filthy rags in the sight of God, man could not work to receive this sacrifice Jesus had made. Man had to believe for it. That’s why Jesus tells Nicodemus that God so loved the world that He gave His only son that whoever would believe in Him would not perish, but have lasting life.

Therefore, Jesus tells us in …

John 14:1-6 (NKJV), “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know. Thomas said to Him, ‘Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?’

Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’”

Now when you put your trust and faith in Jesus the Father is no longer reminded of your sins. The Father is no longer reminded of the sins you have committed. Why? Because He sees the blood on the mercy seat and therefore His wrath has been satisfied.

Psalm 103:12, “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”

Beloved, Jesus didn’t just provide eternal salvation for us. He is our eternal salvation.
